"Death is not an event in life: we do not live to experience death. If we take eternity to mean not infinite temporal duration but timelessness, then eternal life belongs to those who live in the present."

Quotes by Ludwig Wittgenstein
Ludwig Wittgenstein, born on April 26, 1889, in Vienna, Austria, was a philosopher who profoundly influenced 20th-century philosophy, particularly in language, logic, and the philosophy of mind. A complex figure, Wittgenstein's work spanned two major philosophies: his early ideas in the "Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus" and his later explorations in "Philosophical Investigations." His legacy endures in contemporary debates on the nature of meaning and understanding, as he challenged the very foundations of how language shapes our reality. Wittgenstein passed away on April 29, 1951, leaving a lasting impact on the philosophical landscape.
